At the first dive on the Tapajós River, Myli nearly drowned during a bath in the river. Antonio and Bernardo help their companion and bring her back to the boat. In Alter do Chão, hometown of Ana Tapajós, she visits her old house and gets excited.

On the way to Cambodia, the group is separated into two canoes, which makes the trip much more comfortable. The problem is that they will pass by the place where the Mekong River divides: if they pick up the wrong channel, they can enter a free fall of ten meters!

The group's first mission is to visit a floating village, where the captain's assistant lives. To get there, they need to row smaller vessels, since the boat they were in was too large for the depth of the river.

The group is able to get rid of the bamboos, taking the material that took up space on the boat for days until the captain's house. But the corner of the vessel will be quickly filled with bricks and cement, which must be loaded for the rebuilding of a temple.
